Men, I recommended you yo checo your blood sugar 2 hours after that oat breakfast, if your glucose Is over 100 so you should eat less oat quantity if It Is under 100 PERFECT you can keep eating exactly like that.
    Nutritionist recomendation 😉

Thanks so much Sasha! Cheers from Down Under! 😄 Oh, I'm also vegan, and use coconut yoghurt instead of the greek, and add a bit of cinnamon… absolutely awesome! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I love doing this as I'm one who cannot face food (eat) first thing in the morning. Then I get busy and forget so having this already waiting makes it easier when I realize that it's way past time I should have eaten (+ meds). I usually use steel-cut oats as I like the texture. I put it in a bit of boiling water first then add either some milk or cream, chia seeds or powder, maybe some nuts or seeds and let it soak. I prefer it heated so having it to this point really cuts down the cooking time for the Steel-cut oats.

This is often the best meal of my day:
1/2 cut oats, 1 cup oat/almond milk, half banana, tbsp peanut butter, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, cinnamon, tiny bit of maple syrup. In a pyrex or mason jar overnight. In the morning, i'll add flax meal (otherwise it makes the texture too glue-y).

Also, if you don't like the "chia seeds stuck in your teeth" feeling from whole chia seeds, you can grind them up first in a spice grinder. Same nutrition and gelling properties, but none of the need for a toothpick!

Sasha abaout the topping, do you think it's better to put it in the fridge too or only right before eat? I saw many recipes of overnight oats but since you're recomending it, i'll give it a try. Tks
