These overcoming autoimmune condition stories are always so inspiring. One of the areas I'm thinking of going into academical research on! I think there's something special about any and all accents, but I just love the Australian ones so much, haha. Rebecca was such a joy, and the tart looks glorious 🙂 thank you both <3

Great episode! It was odd at first to catch an Aussie accent on with you AJ 😊
I had an aunt who lived well until 92 with MS. Her daughter, my cousin, also has it. My aunt just naturally lived a low fat diet, and the little salt and sugar just followed. Doctors were always without explanation for her MS well-being. Her daughter doesn't fare quite so well, with increasing symptoms as time goes on. She is not so disciplined/habituated re food as her mother was sadly. I will send her this! My aunt deteriorated when she lived in a nursing home the last 2 years of her life when she was not in control of her food. But since she'd done so well for so long, she was still pretty well ok in many ways. It's a lesson for nursing homes to supply better food and there's a little movement in that direction led by Maggie Beer (for Aussies reading here), not plant based sadly, but definitely lots of vegetables and fruits in the mix.
