This is awesome. This is exactly what I've been looking for. Short and sweet. Step by step but to the point. You have no idea what a huge blessing this is for me. Keep up the amazing work. Can't wait to peep out your channel. Oh! And thank you for teaching your kids to cook with you. The world needs more of you, sir. God bless you.

You edited out adding the orange marmalade. It's OK, we know to just add everything to the pot. I watch the various instapot vids just to get the cook times and a list of ingredients. You make good vids and I like how you get your kids involved.

Rod,A thought in passing. The BBQ sauce that you used—does it have a hickory smoke flavor i.e. as from Liquid Smoke ?   If so, might I suggest using tomato ketchup instead. Asian Orange Chicken does NOT have a hickory smoke flavor ingredient.I'd also let it time down about 10 minutes before hitting the quick release of steam.Kind regards…..IrP

Rod, check your video…. It doesn't show the addition of the Orange Marmalade to the Instant Pot.  It appears that it was added after the cornstarch slurry (by placement of magenta colored bowl on countertop).Your comments about having to increase thickening slurry amount is spot on. The standard is a 2:1 ratio; cornstarch to liquid.  Your 1-tsp to 1/4 cup—12 tsp— of liquid is a  1:12 ratio; very marginal at best. Recommended: for each cup of liquid, you want to thicken, start with 1 TBS  of cornstarch in a small bowl. Add an equal amount of cold liquid and stir until smooth paste forms.  Then it should be gradually stirred into the hot liquid in the Instant Pot to prevent it from breaking-down and clumping. Thickening occurs with heat so bring it to a boil and when bubbles just start to form in the liquid, continue to stir until the right consistency is obtained and remove from heat.  Too much heat will cause it to break-down and loose its thickening action….Rod, question, does the BBQ sauce overpower the Orange taste ?  Can you taste the orange ?I note that no oil was used in the sautéing process of the chicken. How did you keep it from sticking to the pot ? Did the chicken release sufficient moisture…. Did you salt & pepper the chicken before adding it to the pot ??? If not, why not ?Looks like a good recipe I'll try soon.
