Orange Cauliflower Chik’n Ingredients 1 head cauliflower separated into florets 1 cup flour 1 tsp salt 1 cup soy milk (or unsweetened plant milk) 2 cups bread crumbs – Sauce 1 cup orange juice 1/2 cup maple syrup 1/4 cup soy sauce 1 tsp garlic powder 2 tsp grated ginger 2 tsp arrowroot powder or cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (thickener) – Preheat oven to 450. Break florets apart and mix together your flour salt and soy milk to get a thick batter. Dip the cauliflower in the batter and then shake off any excess and dip in the breadcrumbs. Do this until all the cauliflower is used and place the battered florets on a nonstick baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes until slightly golden. While those are baking make the sauce. Add your orange juice, soy sauce, garlic powder, maple syrup and ginger into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Once boiling add in your thickener, turn the heat off and whisk until it stops boiling. Take the cauliflower out of the oven and dip the pieces into the orange sauce. Place back on the baking tray and bake an additional 10 minutes.
