I think the reason some of these are vegan rather than vegetarian (or have vegan ingredients) is because they try to really make good use of the videos. So they probably had a couple vegetarian recipes and decided hey I have some old vegan recipes clips to help bulk up the video. I think Tasty knows the difference between Vegan and vegetarian.

I've been looking up recipes I can cook for my boyfriend, since he's a vegetarian. Ik people have their problems with tasty but I like that they give you the recipe and show you how they make it.

    *uses vegetarian cheese*
*dumps a whole carton of heavy cream*
I know both are vegetarian options for lacto vegetarians, but I don’t understand why one was a dairy substitute while another wasn’t. 😂

Made this swedish meatballs…..not bad but next time…..I will make meatballs smaller and bake in the oven to dry them out a little so they aren't so pasty. Gravy was bland so before it thickened I added, 1 tsp onion powder, 1/4 tsp nutmeg and 1/2 tsp allspice and it tasted great.

I’m not vegetarian but I thoroughly believe that the level of meat we consume extremely affects us so I always cut back when and where I can.

No one should bash vegetarians for what they choose to eat and vegetarians should try to advocate for less meat due to the consequences and not look down on meat eaters

I cooked the first one and it was really nice but its makes a lot of food (around 5-6 people). I'm not very experienced with cooking and when I created the sauce with the meatballs in the mixture, the meatballs quickly came apart and I found the pasta wouldn't cook. I still had lots of meatball mixture however and decided to start again and cooked the sauce, pasta and meatballs in 3 separate pots and then combined them at the end which worked better 😊

Where I live in Ohio, mushrooms are extremely expensive. Some ot these dishes cost too much. I can make a whole chicken and mashed pots for the same price. I know, I know, it's vegan!
