Ok, I'm going to be outnumbered here but I'm not a huge fan of garbanzos. In 1964 when I was a young boy living in NYC there was a big blackout. I remember sitting at the kitchen table by candlelight with a plate of garbanzos and rice (I'm Cuban and my mother made beans and rice just about every night) until it was ice cold because I HATED them. My mother would not make me anything else that night so I wound up choking them down COLD! Watching the video it seems like a white bean can be substituted. I'm going to give that a try.

Lovely recipe, I was staring at the orzo I had in my cupboard which I had only ever used to make pasta salad, and figured there must be some good way to use them for dinner. When I saw your channel had a recipe I knew it would be worth checking out!

Thanks so much for the recipe. Made it today and just finished my second bowlful. It's delicious. It has few and simple ingredients & spice(s), but it packs a flavor punch. Love It. Another winner.

I found this recipe on your website and I have to tell you it's delicious and so easy! I'm on my fourth batch already. It's perfect alone but I've also added sauted zuchinni and grape tomatoes and loved it that way too! I think it gets even better the day after!

When it comes to cooking with chickpeas, you are my go-to chef. Outstanding and easy. I made this recipe for dinner last night and that is the only thing I ate. Such a wonderfully delicious comfort food. However, my all time favorite chickpea dish of yours is your Mediterranean Chickpea Salad with Spanish Olives.💖💖

I had done an Orzo recipe similar to this. I went done to prepare everything, chopped onion, made the vegetable broth, rinsed the chickpea. I went to toast the orzo, and I did not have any. Do I did it with quinoa. I did add some spinach and a table spoon of tomato pesto. I toasted some of the chickpea in the over and added it to the top. It turned out pretty good. I can't wait to have wifey try it I'll do it again with Orzo. Thanks for another great quick recipe.

This is incredible. I made it with a red lentil and chickpea based orzo and it came out really well. Had half a can of tomatoes (14oz) left over so I made one of your other recipes with it and I'm set for food for the week!

I’m going to make this and add two sweet Italian sausages (casing removed). Just sauté it with the onions and garlic. And just a thought, add the orzo into the pan after sautéing the onions and garlic for the initial toasting, then the paprika, followed by liquids. I think that would save an unnecessary step and blend the flavors just a bit more. Nice simple dish though. I like these kind of recipes.

Orzo is widely used where I am so I'll definitely try this recipe. I made your 'Chickpea stew from Madrid' and 'Lentil and rice soup', both were superb I wasn't expecting such amazing burst of flavours. I am thinking of replacing the rice with orzo in your lentil and rice soup. Thanks for your great videos.
