You have it Wrong Sajid the election boards are governed by the government. They are independent when they see to the laws past by parliament in elections. She tried to supercede the will of parliament. In that way she violated the constitutional laws of order. Parliament is responsoble for creating laws and when they decide on reinstatement of a party by law, she can not get cute and try to put obstacles in the way . She peobably refused to reinstate and was forced to resign to be eligle for a pension. She should have sought parliamentary input instead of making her decision and stobbornly refusing to accept perlimentary ruling.

We are really sorry Bertukan resigned. She at least made sure votes were counted รธroperly. Previous election commissioners stole ballot boxes and gave it to the ruling party. But your assessment that she shoukd have resigned earlier is correct especially at a time when Abiy Ahmed chaired the ruling party meeting that elected the prime minuster. In the five years that Ms. Birtukan Mideksa led the Ethiopian Election Commission, how many million Ethiopians died in the war, how many starved, how many people were displaced from their homes, how many people lost their jobs, how many people were kidnapped, the economy of Ethiopia, how much food has gone down. How high did it go? All the problems that have happened in Ethiopia are due to Britukan Mideksa because he is the first person to break the constitution of the country! especially the article that stated that the country's elections should be held once every five years. a time when the government was elected when it could not be added to one day. She added one year to Abiy Ahmed to get rid of potential competitors.

At the same time TPLF and OLF led government want to be solved the Wolkayit and Raya disspute with TPLF's constitution so the two evil parties desire is not to respect the law of the land rather when the rule is against their interest or advantage they will try to change at any cost their own laws and rules they created. So the rules and laws as well as the constitution is not to be respected by everyone including TPLF and OLF and work for all of Ethiopians rather those laws and rules and constitution they created in Ethiopia are just tools of oppression.
