Mr. Young, Sir, I made banana pudding using your recipe. When I tell you it's so delicious! In your words, "My God tuhday!" I made just one change, I used chessman cookies instead of vanilla wafers. I let it set overnight and yes, I had a few tablespoons this morning. It's absolutely delicious!

I’m not sure if I can rate this as it didn’t turn out. My pudding mixture was so watery when I followed the recipe. I mixed two tablespoons of corn starch and it never thickened. I wish I can try yours because the end results looks very good. My daughters said stick to your recipe momπŸ˜‚

Clarification needed. Does the recipe call for 1 TBSP of Corn Starch or 2 TBSP? On the video, a message flashed at ~3 minute mark saying 2TBSP but he said 1 TBSP at the beginning of video.

Can not wait to try this recipe!!!!

πŸ˜…I can’t believe you made this and didn’t do a taste test yourself. I go off your reaction to know how good it is. However, I am going to make it too.

Tb that is exactly how my Mama made her banana pudding too! She hated meringue, she called it calf slobber! πŸ˜† she topped hers with a cool whip and a layer of vanilla wafer crumbs or graham cracker crumbs if she didn't have any leftover vanilla wafers. She said it made it pretty. I know it's delicious cause that's what I grew up on. So I make mine like that too. I have a granddaughter with food texture issues and for some reason, she cannot tolerate hunks of banana. So I mash the bananas into the consistency of baby food and mix it in the custard. You know what? I like it! It keeps the bananas from turning brown and getting slick/slimy. I do like you and have extra bananas that people can add chunks on top of if they wish and have extra cookies too for a crunchy topping. Man, I wish I had me a big bowl right now!
