Ms. Lori. I made this pumpkin bread. The only difference I put mine in a Bundt pan and I did put some cream cheese frosting on it. I took it to our best friends house. We get together every Friday and share a meal together. Several times I have taken a Ms. Lori cake or pie. Our friend Ron told me to be sure and tell you how good this was. He loved it. He also loved your Mountain Dew cake. Thanks for this delicious recipe. It made a great cake.

I’m not sure if I just missed this in the video, but am wondering if you have to grease the cans? Also the oven temp and time? I love the idea of wrapping them in a kitchen towel for gift giving!

My sister bakes the best Boston Brown Bread in veggie cans. She gives me 1 or 2 loaves each Christmas. I love to slice and butter it, warm it in the microwave, and enjoy it with a cup of hot tea. THAT is comfort food 🙂

Thank you for another great video! I like to sometimes either add butterscotch chips or white chocolate chips to my pumpkin bread. I prefer the butterscotch chips to the white chocolate chips but both are delicious

I love you to death!!! My mom AND grandma were Eastern city girls and were NOT the homey cooks… so I am having a wonderful time watching you and Mr. Brown enjoy life and teach me so much. I was always so jealous of my friends who had homey moms or grandmas. Keep telling the stories and sharing your "old ways" – I can't be the only one starving for this stuff.

I guard my old 16 ounce coffee cans with my life, use them for brown bread. Went to get new ones, smaller and they have those pull tops on them so it leaves a ridge inside the can. Love cooking in cans. Thanks for letting all whom did not know it is possible and easy. My husband is going to try to make me new ones out of stainless, he is capable, now lets see if he has time.
