Sunflower seeds work as a replacement for some of the more expensive nuts or seeds. Word of caution though, if there are no colourful ingredients, your sauce/dressing may turn grey from them. You can just eat in the dark.

I make an oil free vegan Caeser salad dressing using soft tofu. I blend 1 block of tofu, 1-2 cloves of garlic or 1/2-1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp capers, 1/2-1 TSP Dijon mustard, 1 tsp lemon juice, and a good tablespoon of nutritional yeast with salt and pepper to taste or leave out. So delicious.

I'm sure you could make the ranch using the tofu if you wanted to.

Did you read the news? Jordi casamitjana ( Barcelona vegan who lives in London) he has just won against the UK court s! Now it's illegal to fire/discriminate against vegans at work in UK!!! And in UK veganism is now legally a non religious belief ethical moral stance! Thanks to Jordi!!! ( that's George in English) #victory #jordiCasamitjana #justice

That salad and dressing looked delicious, will definitely try it. Iโ€™ve only been vegan since last November but am loving every minute. Food tastes so much better without all the animal products in it. Thank you both for your fantastic and inspiring vlogs, xx

Oooh, looks lovely ๐Ÿ˜‹. I never make dressings. I tend to stick to mayo or coleslaw but I think it's time I started! Could you make this and keep it in a jar (recycled jam jar of course!) in the fridge?

This looks absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be trying this soon. It's next to impossible to find a decent, healthy dressing in the shops.
PS. I'd give you an extra thumbs up if I could for putting olives in the salad! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿฅ—

I made some hemp seed dressing last week
    For the very first time
And both my partner and I liked it.
It definitely did taste nicer the second time
After a spell in the fridge.

I have never understood what "ranch dressing"
Actually is – it is American – that much I know
But it always struck me as the name for
British salad dressing (which Heinz made / makes)

This is a great dressing. I like that for this meal you combine something processed with something homemade, and lots of vegetables. Itโ€™s an excellent way to eat. And fun in the kitchen.

that was great. I'm not totally vegan meself but I do really enjoy veggie/vegan food, and why not? I'd rather eat veg than eat animal products. Can't quite give up dairy or honey or wool but I'm heading in the right direction and it's thanks to you guys ๐Ÿ™‚
