Can’t wait to try this. I was looking at the nonstick pans that you recommend. It’s actually aluminum and cooking on aluminum is very unhealthy. But thanks for sharing a pancake recipes I love pancakes

This is my second time making this recipe! I use the batter with my mini waffle maker and it turns out great! I added an extra tbsp of coconut oil to the batter to make the waffles. Even my mom enjoyed it! Thank you! 🙂

Thanks from 🇿🇦 South Africa… I adjusted it a bit (as things are so expensive these days) and I made this in the blender, which for that other comment makes the oats smooth, a perfect way if you don't like oats. It came out amazing, I spread it with butter to keep the sugars down and it was amazing. A wonderful mouth feel and excellent tasting. Keep well and God bless. Ps. Is that Spies an Afrikaans surname?

I can’t stand oatmeal. I like so many things but not oatmeal . Currently have a big bag of it and don’t want it to go to waste. I will try this and hope it doesn’t taste horrible 😭 I also heard of savory recipes using oats. That may be wayyy better!

They are so amazing! I just made them and the last ones are still cooking but they’re so delicious can’t wait to eat them. I added dates instead of nuts to make them more sweet. They’re delicious!!!

Tried this recipe and love it!!! The recipe is very flexible so I use oat flour only (ratio 1-1 for flour and milk) and replace coconut oil with olive oil. The texture came out nicely! This pancake will be my daily comfort food!!!!!

I made this today and it's a tasty, healthy, and easy little recipe! I used egg whites (6oz) and skim milk; grape seed oil and avocado oil cooking spray. (I spray it into a small cup then pour it in the pan because the aerosol, not the oil, wears out the non-stick coating of the pan) I also used 1 cup of oatmeal flour because the batter was too runny due to using egg whites without yolks. It comes out a little runny in the pan, but it cooks out well at 2 — 3.5 minutes each (makes 6 using 1/4 cup measuring scoop). It's well worth it to cook it this way because I need to watch my cholesterol intake.

Excelente receta; me quedaron deliciosos. Nunca había conocida pancake. Como tengo diabetes tipo 2 he decidido buscar alternativas que no incremente el nivel de azúcar en la sangre. Muchas Gracias por la información.

I was looking for vegan gf oatmeal pancakes without bananas or apple sauce and also that uses flax "eggs". I found yours and I just finished eating them for dinner! 🤣 They were DELICIOUS! My batter was a little thicker than yours though, even when I used only one flax egg. This recipe is a keeper! 💕

I didn’t like bananas as a kid, and oatmeal also, but now I realize they’re two of the best foods you can eat and you can make them delicious (ie. banana ice cream)
