The Ninja Foodi is a combination pressure cooker and air fryer while the Instant Pot is solely a pressure cooker. You can now purchase the Mealthy Crisp lid to turn your Instant Pot into an air fryer.

I put the NEW Ninja Foodi Deluxe against the NEW Instant Pot Duo Crisp! Here's the video https://youtu.be/yi1gLZKZ4lc
which ribs were more tender? the ninja foodi, or the instant pot?
I don't eat pork but them ribs look taste …
Good exhibition my sista …
What did the boys think of the ribs?
My wife just bought a Ninja. I like making spare ribs on my Smokey Joe where I can put some hickory and apple wood for the smoky taste. Maybe 20-30 minutes on the grill with smoke and then into the foodi. Experiment time.
Great video !!!
Never enough ribs for guests. Ribs are mine once I open the pot. "Guests" get take-out. LOL I like pressure cooker for cooking and the broiler for finishing. Nothing can replace the direct heat of the broiler IMHO. ( ps, I gained 10lbs just watching this video.)
If you had put the ribs in the basket in the ninja they would have charred like the grill 😊 x
You have to choose one..how are you gonna switch it up on us🤦🏾♀️
I feel you may achieve a similar result to the broiler using the ninja if you set it at a higher temperature for a lil longer to get some caramelized sauce ribs. Either way they both seem to get the job done
Judging by pull back alone…I'm going with the Instant Pot.
Not that EITHER would be my preferred way to cook ribs! But, I guess if you're in a hurry…
And I get that…sure beats the hell out of par-boiling. yarf
Still…
The pull back on the Ninja is HUGE…WAY too much shrinkage IMO.
Some things can't be rushed…ribs being one of them.
Kudos to sweetsavant for doing this.
I'm sure both were tasty.
That said, judging by the outcome…the Instant Pot wins hands down… Yes, it also requires a broiler…but if you've got a kitchen, you almost certainly have a broiler. So pffft.
I'd certainly eat either, or both…
But the ones finished in the oven just look better. Much better…
And yes, that's my opinion…but what can I say, they do? But what do I know? I'm only a simple classically trained chef.
Again, kudos/thanks to sweetsavant for this. Worth every minute…even if I have no intention of pressure cooking ribs. Nicely done.
What size? 6 qt?
I didn't watch the video can you just tell me which one is better
More sauce on them ribs lady.Yummy in my tummy.. If the ninja foodi pot is aluminum I would toss it out as cooking anything with aluminum is not good.Maybe see if you can find a suitable stainless replacement pot, much safer.Very soothing voice and a pretty lady for sure.
I finish my ribs on the grill using indirect heat after cooking them in the InstaPot for 25 minutes. It gives them the smokey flavor and they are very tender.
What size is your Foodi?
You're awesome,thanks for the video.
You gained a subscriber.
Hahahahahaa you told us where recipe was pointing with your finger, Nope not there
I prefer the Ninja!! It looks more robust.
These ribs look soooooo good. Now I'm famished. Will someone set me a place at the table please??!!
Hi, I am not from the States…what is it Hard cider ?
Both of those pressure cookers looks very nice. The food looks Delicious. Good video. Thanks.
Excellent comparison! Thank you. I have an RV and have been debating whether to get a Foodi as space is at a premium for us. Thanks again.
Has anyone actually taken their Ninja and used it to replace their Instant Pot and/or Air Fryer/Slow Cooker?
I noticed you had separated drippings on the ninja. Was there any on the Insta pot?
Instant pot wins! IMO
Got me at aluminum.
Foodi looks better imo.
My bad got distracted I got it
What was your setting i mean temp
you should do guided meditation!
It's not a fair comparison. The char and broil of the broiler gives the meat another dimension to the food from presentation, consistency and taste.
Fodi is winner, the objective of these cookers is to use one appliance.
Hey, does the ninja foodie leave as much food scent in the air as a regular pot frying?
Español!
Any videos comparing the Crockpot Express Crisp 8qt and the Ninja Foodi?
…HOW MANY QUARTS ARE YOUR POTS… – ? – MY GOURMIA = 6 QUARTS – I'LL BE COOKING CHICKEN AND PORK CHOPS – IN MY 6 QUART GOURMIA MULTI-MODE SMARTPOT… – NO THE GOURMIA DOESN'T HAVE THE BROIL FEATURE… – I'LL CHECK AGAIN… – NEXT WEEK – I'LL COOK THE PORK RIBS…THANK YOU FOR POSTING…
So the Ninja Foodie has an advantage with the air fryer? What about the non stick coating, is it pfoa and ptfe free?
Joe from Germany
Porky
OK, don't laugh, but I don't drink much. I have had wine before. I love Amaretto sours. Only have both a few times. Anyway I guess that was TMI! Anyway What is hard Cider, is that the actual name, and where do I buy it?
What size (quart size) is that Instant Pot?
I'll never judge a Mother's ribs. The only thing I'll say is, smok'em if ya got 'em. Low & slow with smoke, then finish (caramelize, not burn) them with your preferred BBQ sauce over an open flame (preferably wood-fired). Thank you for sharing a Mother's insight.
Looks very yummy! I was looking for this exact comparison between these two units. Well made and informative video. Thank you.
Yes tender but a little chew to them is good
I would pay money for your ribs
