Great haul and congrats on coming in under budget again. Your brussel sprouts looked delicious! I've not tried those particular Jamaican patties myself but do usually get some frozen ones from the grocery store as we don't really eat them that quickly so the quantity that Costco has is a bit too much for us, though I'm still curious how you find them! I expect your local business is getting hit with price variations themselves, which is probably why their prices are fluctuating. 🙂

I found an interesting thing – I ordered Costco Coffee pods packs online and avoided delivery fees – any order over $75 cancels delivery fee (and surcharge?)- the other thing is right now there’s a bundle pack offer saving you the more you order. In my case I order 3 cases of this Kirkland coffee pods and saved $30 more – with free delivery (I honestly can’t remember if there was a delivery surcharge – but I don’t think so?) – anyway I ended up with 3 cases of coffee for around $96 tax included, which works out to $33 per box (again tax included) – very similar to there in store sales price but still cheaper!!! Which is usually about $8 off (but only when they have in store sales). I did notice you bought a case for probably around $42 + Tax. Anyway to summarize I’ve notice that there are some online sales that can work in our budgets favour you’ve just got to look for them. Something we all need in these times of inflation. Oh yea, it was delivered in 2 days – wow!

I hope this makes sense to those who read through the whole thing. Maybe there’s no tax on this coffee anyways?

Hi Dee, your recipe looks so delicious. I roast Brussels sprouts too – it's the best way to eat them!
Where did you find that big jar of onion powder??
What is your favorite type of white rice?
Thanks Dee, and enjoy your Sunday 🌞
