First off, Dylan your enthusiasm for what you do is infectious. I'm genuinely happy for you; you deserve it. You're doing great work! I'm certainly a fan of the channel. Secondly, your plant rant about looking at the big picture and not at all these little, tiny things related to how we eat is spot on. Keep preaching it; it's really an important message, because it is one that is so very true. Lastly, congrats on getting hitched to that sexy Reebs gal. You two are such a cute couple. 😃

Yes! I need more camping food! It’s why I bought the powdered cheese sauce, veggie broth and dried veggie blend. I don’t backpack but like to keep what needs to be kept cold limited.

Dylan and Reebs, one idea for a salsa would be just to do a dry blend and have us add it to some tomatoes… Not sure how far along you are in the process but I buy something like that already from someone else sometimes just add a couple of tablespoons to some Stewed or crushed tomatoes… works great. Up to you!! 😊

I continue to eat bananas with berries. I doubt I’m missing out on much. I have never heard of anyone who died from lack of nutrients due to eating bananas and berries. Let’s not go off the deep end here. Thanks for being realistic WYW.

I love Dr Gregor, but I take everything with a a grain of (salt free seasoning)😆. Im not eating processed foods or animals. I’m not going to worry about every little thing. I eat lots of bananas. Sometimes with berries, sometimes in oat clusters. There are plant based experts with some differences in their approach. I like starch based but some don’t. Being WFPB is what really counts. Your rants are entertaining and I love your show.

It's unfortunate that Dr Gregor is being blamed for the banana-berry issue. He has done a lot of good in swaying people towards veganism and better health and does not personally profit from doing so. The original study came out in August of last year (Dr Gregor was not on the study committee). It took off like a shot and lots of social media content providers jumped on the story and freaked people out. Some vegan YouTubers were asked to comment (Mic the Vegan & Simnett Nutrition are 2 that I watched). Eventually Dr Gregor put up his opinion (about 4 months later), and did his thing with studies, charts and graphs. I agree that sometimes it can be stressful and frustrating worrying about getting ALL the nutrients especially for the "Keep It Simple, Stupid" (KISS) vegans. These vegans are YOUR audience (not calling this audience stupid, it's just an acronym I learned in the Navy). Dr Gregor has HIS audience who like the charts, graphs, numbers, studies and particulars. IMO knowing who's advice and guidance we follow and how to temper it for ourselves and our lifestyle is part of the vegan journey.
