Yes Maria, Your little Ben is so cute! I think all of us have this little nagging thought that there may be shortages and I am 50/50 on prepping or worrying about it. Sour dough has been on my long list and short list forever. I enjoy watching yogurt and granola making. Love all of your content. Thank you

Yes I have been worried about finding certain things I have 40 pounds of flour, sugar, beans and rice and probably the same in pasta and 20 pounds of oats and I like you like the packets better so I vacuum sealed my oats with oxygen absorbers hoping it will make it stay fresh. I also just started picking up bread flour and I think I have 4 pounds of yeast in the freezer things are getting more expensive so I am really just trying to really stock us up heavy just in case things get expensive and I have to buy less groceries. Milk is so expensive I paid $3.65 for a gallon of cheap not organic milk I am trying to eat better too and eat less meat. I guess I am a part time vegetarian at this point work towards vegetarian bacon is hard for me and steak everything else I could live without great haul have a great week.

Nice Haul video – could you do a video talking about the fear of possible items becoming not available and substitutions we can make ?
I drink Soy Milk in coffee but will drink regular if that is all I have. For years now in addition to the Soy Milk container in my fridge I keep dry Milk [ regular ] and shelf stable Soy and regular containers in my cupboard. It has saved me more times than not when the one in the fridge empties and I just can not buy more that week. Same with meat my refrigerator freezer is full of that, some veggies and fruit. But , I also have a drawer in an armoire in my hall pantry that holds alternative proteins – peanut butter, canned fish, shellfish, beans, meats, shelf stable Tofu
    Have to be prepared

With everything going on in the world I'm finding myself antsy about shortages again too. I've bought a couple extra pantry items each time I've gone shopping over the last month. Just a lil bit of a cushion if need be.

Lots of yummy healthy snacks! I too am stocking up little by little, as prices are already crazy! I have never ordered from Instacart! Been thinking about it though! It saves time! Wish it was around when my kids were little! Baby is just as as cute as ever!

Years ago when I was in between cars and taking public transportation there was a time I was grocery shopping and picked up a huge amount around $100.00 and decided that taking a cab home made sense as there was no way I could get all that on to one bus let alone transfer to a second bus and them walk home from the drop off point. The CA saved me energy, time and stress . Plus it was a friend of a friend so he charged me a $1.00 less God bless him. I added it into the cost of my groceries as I was purchasing a few weeks worth. Sometimes taking gotta do what you gotta do
    Great haul video

Maria, I definitely am in fear of no bread. I have been stocking up on food for several weeks now. I've stocked up on the shelf stable milk from Dollar Tree. I'm in fear of food shortages in general. I have been staying at my daughter's this week dog sitting. Checking out her food. Want to know my kids have food in case of shortages. Can't wait for your Easter video!

Hi enjoyed your video. I couldn't give you a thumbs up as it kept saying this action is not allowed. Just wanted you to know I tried giving you a thumbs up to no avail.
