I love this. Ben is right, I always have skipped the salads, which I will not do in the future! Really nice to see some great looking new things to try! Drunken noodles is my go-to Thai food order, already, because it's just that good.

I love Thai food! Especially the spicy fishcakes and Tom Yam Kung soup! The first and only time in Thailand the Thai branch of my family took us to a famous restaurant (but have forgotten the name) 😩 and that evening was food heaven! 😍😋🤤🤤🤤 I had tears in my eyes but that sour 'n spicy Tom Yam Kung was the tastiest soup ever!!! 🤤

Absolutely love Tom Kha Kai. My husband wanted to try it (even though he hates coconut) I got it all and loved it every drop. I've made it a few times and its just amazing and refreshing in the FL heat

Understand that the ingredients may not the same as the ones we actually use in Thailand, but the last dish is not Kaeng Pa or Jungle Curry to me. It’s Kaeng Som (Sour Curry, the exact translation). And we don’t put rice in the soup. Jungle Curry flavor is salty and hot, not sour.

This video prompted me to investigate my fave Thai restaurant menu, and found they had fermented sausage as a fried rice dish. I took the plunge, and so glad I did, because OMG what an amazing flavour!

I worked at a family owned Thai restaurant for six years. The owner moved to America when she was 25 years old. I ate everything on the menu and knew every dish. The owner would personally make dishes off the menu for me too. To this day Thai food is my favorite food. Pad Thai was and still is their most order and favorited dish. I've had the panang curry, jungle curry, drunken noodles, and Tom Kra.
I prefer Tom yum soup compared to Tom kra. I've never had the sausage or the mango salad, but they sound amazing. I recommend papaya salad. That's really good.

I’m so happy I found you. I’ve been watching the YouTube shows & shorts now for a year & you’re literally the most inclusive, open, positive person. You’ve opened me up to new ideas (I thought I was pretty worldly myself) I love the art & the world community contributions. I feel dumb bc I just realized when I listen to your shows, it actually brings good positivity back into my weekly life. I’d love to see you grow onto bigger networks & be the person who spreads & encourages curiosity, community engagement, reading & arts.

    I really enjoyed this episode.
I think it would be really awesome if the next takeout video you did was Russian food. I know what Putin is doing is really bad but I don’t think he represents the Russian people or their food. I feel for Ukraine right now, but I don’t want to see the Russian people suffer for their leadership and I think they could use some love too. C’mon, there’s got to be a great Russian restaurant in NYC!
I’m craving some borscht and cabbage rolls!

Love that you did this video, because I love Thai food! I got to see a lot of Thai that I either have not tried or didnt know about because they aren’t in the menus of my usual Thai restaurants. Spicy Basil stir fry and yellow curry are my go-to orders! The catfish salad was very enlightening to me. I’m from Louisiana, and whenever I see catfish on the Thai menus here, I always thought it was because its a fish that’s easily available in Louisiana/Gulf of Mexico area. I never stopped to consider that Thailand also had catfish. That fermented pork dish looked amazing, though, and I want to try it now too since everyone in the video was recommending it!
