It’s a midweek-friendly one-pot rice dish, but not something you’d typically expect from me. But don’t look away – my Persian rice …

Hi Marion love your recipes and I have just bought your wok book. Hope it is as good as you say i am sure it will be. Thanks for recipes and advice
What I'm interested in is making some kind of Asian-themed casserole. I’d like to prepare some well-browned ground pork, and then sauté some vegetables like julienned onions and red bell pepper, along with chopped bok choy, garlic, sliced water chestnuts, green onion, bean sprouts, diced carrots, broccoli florets, various chilies, some kimchi, and maybe some whole kernel corn. Then add a bit of ground cayenne, some black ground pepper, soy sauce, a bit of sesame oil, perhaps some black vinegar, some Thai peanut sauce, some hoisin sauce, Sriracha, and some Lau Gan Ma. Then add the cooked ground pork back into the mix, then add thin spaghetti which has been broken in half or into thirds and then the right amount of chicken stock that will enable the pasta to cook but will pretty much be entirely absorbed by the casserole. I suppose it could be cooked slowly and covered on a low heat on the stove or allowed to bake on a medium to low heat in the oven. I suppose it's like cooking it as a dish in a wok, and yet for me it's somewhat different. So I’m just trying to figure out the best way and method for putting this together, and could use some help.
Hi!
I wonder if the rice is washed? I always do that first, but then the rice is already moist… is that ok?
Might want to get dax to fix the end a bit (last 1.5-2 minutes) and reupload. Its choppy, silent, black screen wih occasion footage. Definitely not the high quality finish we have come to expect from your videos. Other than that i look forward to trying this recipe soon
Is it optional to add raisins or is it compulsory?
