It may not be the most accurate Thai green curry but you could do it like that as well! depends on what culture or country you gotta adapt to.
Look good as i am Thai chef, may i reccomend
another way of Thai cooking is more like this
Step by step
– oil with curry paste
– add up coconut milk
until boiled
– add meat as you prefer
When cook then add VG
– add more salt or fish sauce, sugar, chichen Knor
Powder wait until boiled
– add cafir lime leave
This is authentic Thai cuisine for more than 200 years,no master what you cook for..if mention THAI
Curries, then step and procedure are importance for a good teste and aroma.
Massaman,Paneng,Green curry,Red Curry,Kari curry
Or Yellow curry
your mom isn't that authentic. she put in shop bought paste. this looks very mediocre.❤️
I’ve seen so many videos of the sauce been broken is it supposed to break ? Want to cook it but hate my sauces breaking 😭
She can add paprika for color
That looks lovely! I like tamarind paste in chicken curries , it adds a sweet and sour taste.
Look good but definitely not Thai
😊
perfected the recipe = using May Ploy duo of pastes 😉 i dont blame her the yellow one is my secret ingredient too. also Thai basil that I grow! we are a lot like your mama in our house too
This looks good, gotta give it a try and thank god, no lime juice its perfect!
I also put baby's in my curry
Seriously dialed in techniques. Thx for sharing this absolute GEM!
I dont have lime leaves but I use lime zest and it comes close. It makes boxed japanese curry so much better.
Good job jummie
Switch the water to chicken stock
Are the lime leaves like kafir lime leaves or curry leaves? 🙂 Thank you
how u gonna say perfected it. then my mom grabbed randoms tuff outa the fridge…
Too much stuff and the wrong veg in the curry.
cant see any point to put paste on chicken. just put in the pot
If you want the red colour, why not just use the red curry paste lol? Just don't use the yellow paste…and it turns out red. 😅😂
That's coconut cream not milk…
I just done this recipe, and it was yummy! I did a few changes thou: 2 instead of 3 spoons fish sauce and sugar, perhaps even just one and half if you want to reduce the sugar and for those who are not too fan of the fish sauce flavour. I didn't have the red colouring seeds so I added a teaspoon of tomato paste (impossible to taste at the end but gives it that inviting redish colour) kaffir leaves and lemon grass from those lil jars you can get from the supermarket and touch of lemon zest too👌👌👌 i didn't have fresh coriander but that's for next time
Yum! Where can a ole Mexican find such delicacies ? I’d love to try this
My mom sort made it like this
This is nothing Thai lol
Looks delicious
Super in it? No.. love Thai curry but never knew sugar is add..
The motherfrickin lime leaf is goated
Do you use coconut oil for the pan?
Yummy! Cambodian curry is similar except we fry the paste first… I always ordered Thai curry bc there's no Cambodian restaurant. Love the eggplant.
They are called Kaffir Lime leaves, for goodness’s sake.
No green beans
Please share ur mother's cooking channel
This is not correct. The paste must be fried in coconut fat.
Bleh.
