Welcome to Spore! Hope u guys went off the beaten path n visited places like Pulau Ubin n the various nature reserves, eg Sungei Buloh Wetlands Reserve. Yup, tiny Spore has nature reserves n many nature parks. Spore is a biophilic city-country so u can actually see wildlife in the nature reserves. Hv fun!

if you go for some Laksa, you owe it to the Laksa… to try different versions, and you will find laksa is not just.. well.. laksa..
try to locate Jalan Berseh, great old school laksa – Sungei Road laksa.. using charcoal fire, and spoon only (no chopsticks) since the noodles are cut – small warning.. the owners do not like cameras, so be discreet / use distance.. they will tell you ;o)
then go for the Penang / Asam Laksa version, and, finally, the version from Borneo Island, the Sarawak laksa with vermicelli rice noodles – there are other versions as well
all 3 are yummilicious – and very different… important is .. to enjoy

Josie, the Nan is baked in a tandor (a clay oven in the shape of a large pot)……would be really yummy if you could eat your Nan with a curry sauce….Try it !!

zam zam is such an aicon! im 36 but i've been there since i was a kid. i usually like ot go up the 2nd floor to eat for some reason. btw e-bikes and e-scooters are not allowed on pedestrian pathways anymore in singapore – unless it;s for food delivery. so that's why you dont see them there lol

Did y'all visit Mustafa Centre when you were at Little India? It's a multi-storey departmental store that opens 24/7 selling all kinda things, it's pretty messy and chaotic (especially on weekends when there's an influx of foreign workers having their day off) but there's just so many things to look around.

Loving your bubbly personality. It's super amazing that you guys made what's rather common and taken for granted here for the locals, look tantalising and seen in a different light. Keep rolling with the videos!

A few Hawker centers to check out.

Chinatown complex Hawker Center: The biggest with a lot of food options
Maxwell Hawker Center: Well known for Tian Tian Chicken Rice known to be one of the favorite stalls of the late Anthony Bourdain
Old Airport Road Hawker Center: Roast Paradise, Sin Mei Chin Lor Mee.
Army Market Hawker Center: Right opposite 'Little Thailand'
Bishan Blk 85 Hawker Center: Dinner and Supper Spot
Newton Circle Hawker Center: Famous for being featured in the movie Crazy Rich Asians. Good food but quite pricy.
East Coast Lagoon Hawker Center: Seaside Dinning

There are a lot more maybe you guys can stay longer next time.

Hi Josie! Welcome to Singapore! Do visit Katong and Joo Chiat district ! So much history yet full of new exciting things churning out there in a real, living, residential estate. Wide range of food from heritage food like Janggut Katong Laksa to fusion hip cafes. Sandwiched between the east coast beach and the popular with locals Geylang Serai market, this is where you will get to see a side of real organic living in SG. This is where you can walk around to see those beautiful colourful Peranakan houses too.
Too many visitors simply miss this out as they are stuck deep with the Chinatown-tian tian chicken rice (there are much better ones!)-mbs circuit!

Hi I am a Singaporean and you should visit Sentosa which has universal studios in that island with many rides and you should watch the light and water show at Marina Bay Sands sun-Thu:8 & 9 pm
Sentosa has a lot of tourist attractions other than the universal studios! If you are going there, I hope you have an amazing magical trip!
Oh and another hawker Center that have satays are at the Lao pa sat hawker Center it somewhere around the downtown area and China town hawker Center … yum yum yum so nice their food is so delicious that you feel like melting actually in my opinion the food in the entire Chinatown is the most delicious ofc there are also many other Nice foods in Singapore but since you are staying in a hotel near Chinatown, that is the best option, to eat at the Chinatown hawker Center

$2 for the Garlic Nan (around 50bht) is a good price really. Here in Hua Hin it costs 35 bht for Garlic nan made in the same way. I need to try the Turkish coffee

welcome to SG! i would suggest Chomp Chomp Food market ( in Serangoon area ) its abit in the heartlands of Singapore. please try their BBQ stingray and Sugercane juice! alongside perhaps a Hokkien mee and BBQ wings ( with the chili and Small Calamansi lime ) ! Please note that its a Night time food area so its start around after 6.30 to 7 evening. also consider eating a mix of food dishes from the Chinese/Malay/Indian food!

i miss Singapore because I used to travel for short-term work very often and haven't been in a long time. I want to go back to travel and eat delicious food there. I will record wherever you have visited. There should be a chance to follow in your footsteps.
