I don't like carrot pieces in my soup either. Don't like the texture of carrots. The way I found to get around that is to finely grate carrots and add to the soup and cook until the grated carrots fall apart. Does give the soup a funny color but taste great.

Well my friend I think it is fair to say you have covered Turkey from soup to nuts over the last couple of weeks. Nice job🦃. BTW there is a restaurant near San Luis Obispo called McLintocks which is famous (infamous) for their appetizer… Fried Turkey Nuts. Might want to add that to your repertoire 😉

Looks like a twin to my "turkey frame soup" which I got out of the "Better Home and Garden" cook book YEARS ago. I modified the recipe with a jar of Ragu to replace the tomato sauce and spice's.

We are having Mexican turkey soup tonight to celebrate US Thanksgiving. The turkey (George) was smoked for Canadian Thanksgiving on Oct 8th. His frozen carcass will be used for the soup stock.
My Better 7/8 ths doesn't like carrots either.
    Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
