I do NOT really agree with this, it's okay it's your style of parenting but that does NOT mean other styles of parenting are wrong or traumatic, some children adapt to other style of parenting too & it is sad that we have created such a weirdly sensitive world that Almost Everyone in the world now sees themselves to be a victim of some or the mental or emotional trauma & it has become a Trend rather than actual problem.

My mom use to force feed us. Especially my younger sister. She has a horrible relationship with food and still refuses to eat a lot of veggies and other basic dishes even soup smh

Im on the spectrum so food textures and smells was super overwhelming as a kid. Im still a picky eater, but am moving at my own pace to incorporate more foods into my life!

I have been a picky eater my whole life and when I was little my stepmom would make me eat food, she even shoved food in my mouth before and made me swallow it. That’s amazing that she has a mom who gives her a safe environment and is aware of her daughters feelings

While yes it is completely correct. Most parents don't have the time nor patience to take their time of the day to search about different and new foods or make them. Mine for example, made the same food because ot was convenient. If i didn't like her food them i was told to make my own. I wasn't necessarily a picky eater but that experience just left me hungry and annoyed
