The only tool you need to clean your stove is a duster when you have a Ninja Foodi this thing does everything, is an oven, a slow cooker, you can saute, you can bake, is an air fyer, there is nothing you cannot do in this one appliance. And it works perfect in everything you want to do, you can throw away everything from your kitchen, the rice is Perrrfect. I got mine last christmas i had to pay top dollar because it was hard to find, only Amazon came to my rescue, but is worth every penny, now the price is lower.

Can you use the instant pot to keep rice warm for days like you can with your fancy rice cooker? I have an instant pot and a similarly sized kitchen so I would love to make that work. It seems to turn off after a while. I think it’s 12 hours? Thanks for all your helpful videos. You’re the best out there.

It is absolutely fine to eat coconut oil, pumpkin seed oil, truffles oil, cold pressed olive oil… the vegans , the gatherers you are talking about didn’t have so many home appliances and devices , it is insane!

Hi! You mentioned that you don't have an oven in your tiny house. You might find a solar cooker a nice alternative. I have the All Season Solar Cooker. It even folds down for storage, which sounds ideal for your set up. Then you could bake whenever you wanted, or at least as long as there is sunshine. (No affiliation, by the way.)

When you said how much the rice cooker was, I was like "No way!", but when you got to your Vitamix, I saw everything in a new light and understood. I was almost ashamed to tell people I bought a Vitamix (years ago) because of how much it was, but after I used it, and used it, and used it, I shouted it to the world! I love my Vitamix, which was pricey, BUT I use it every day (and have for many years) and if I were to break down the costs of use, it would be nominal (I just calculated it at $0.17/day and it's going strong). It's well made and I certainly got what I paid for and then some. No one can go wrong with a Vitamix, so I may just look into that rice cooker, since the referral is from a very trusted source.

your hair is so pretty! how do you colour it?? do you go to the salon?? do you do it yourself?? i'm looking for an easy cheap way to colour my hair. i usually go to the salon to do balayage but it's so expensive because they charge you for a blowdry as well or else you leave with wet hair…. :o(

I had an instant pot but I had so many problems with it. It would burn things and not come to pressure and I got so sick of its shit. I ended up selling it. I wonder if I bought a lemon because you and so many other people seem to really love yours.

Hannah — To solve the no oven problem, a Breville Smart Oven (with airfry feature) is great for a tiny house! There's nothing you can't cook in it. It toasts, bakes/roasts, broils, slow cooks, air fries, dehydrates, etc. You could get rid of a toaster, air fryer, slow cooker, dehydrator, and range if you have this oven, and you can bake anything you want. It even works for meat-eaters, since you can cook a 14-pound turkey in it. For plant-based eaters in a tiny house or small apartment, a Breville Smart Oven, a 3-quart instant pot (technically not necessary because you can accomplish on a cooktop burner anything that an instant pot can do. Instant pot just allows a "set it and forget it" type of feature), a Vitamix, and a portable induction burner are all you need! The total cost of those 4 items is about $875, which is way less than a standard range (and a range can't blend!). It's the ideal set-up for plant-based eaters with small kitchens, or those who engage in intentional living and/or minimalism who don't need to have a big show-off "chef's" kitchen with a 6-burner range and double ovens that never get used and are just status symbols rather than something that actually meets, but doesn't exceed, the requirements of normal everyday living.

Thanks a bunch Hannah for making this video! It's helped me a lot with deciding on which appliances to get. We plan to build our own tiny house on wheels too and seeing that you are able to fit all of those appliances in your tiny house has made me excited that I will have enough room for our appliances in ours!😃

I have an oven, but an air fryer is totally different and makes things so much crispier. I’m on my second one, because I wore the first one out and both my sons have one. Loved this episode and thanks for a great vid and love your podcast!
