Yum! I agree, use whatever you’ve got. My mom used to add condensed milk or evaporated milk whenever we had it on hand, if not, no problem!

Stupid question but…can we used cooked white rice? I notice every recipe says soaked rice. Is there a reason we cant use cooked rice? Btw RGV in the house! Love horchata!

Oh my goodness!! My daughter has 3 bowls of cinnamon toast crunch cereal every day…nope not to eat the cereal…to drink the sweet cinnamon milk!!! I will be making this for her TOMORROW (if i had cinnamon sticks I'd be making it right now) She's 4 and has asked me if i can just make her some cinnamon milk like chocolate milk and i recently looked up some recipes for cinnamon syrup to do that but i think this will be a hit in my house with EVERYONE!! My sister in law makes it once a year and i never end up getting any because it goes so fast but have always wanted to try it SO I SHALL MAKE MY OWN!! thank you so much for sharing this recipe 😊
