Hello Mr. Jacobs, would you be able to tell me who the little guy doll is that you had when you were making the French strip cookies? Any information you could send me would be appreciated. I thought he was the cutest cooking companion!!! I am still loving ❀ your YouTube videos! Thank you. Sam Love

Thank you, Kevin. Can you tell me the model of your Instant Pot, if you don’t mind? I like my trusted pressure cooker but you’ve almost convinced me to get an Instant Pot.

I made the chicken tartine for lunch the other day and we all enjoyed it immensely!

Then yesterday, we had a meal out. I had some leftover crab from that, so I made some crab salad with the leftover crabmeat mixed with mayo, lemon juice, celery, shallot, cilantro, dill, salt & pepper, cayenne.
I prepared the slice of sourdough as you did for the tartine, then piled on the crab salad, topped with grated monterey jack and baked till the cheese was bubbly. Very tasty! Merry Christmas and Thank you for the recipe and all your wonderful videos!

Once again you have tempted me to try something different and delicious! I just cooked up a chicken today and will soon be trying the Tartine! I fell in love with the lovely yellow bowl you were using while mixing up the chicken. It is just lovely and so unique. Plus it helps that one of my 2 favorite colors is yellow!! Wishing you and your loved ones Kevin, a Happy Holiday Season! πŸŽ„

Hi Kevin, Merry Christmas! I've got short ribs in the oven. Your recipe is by far the easiest. I'm catching up on my favorite YouTubers and wanted to say thanks for all your wonderful content! That bread recipe looks so nummy. I've been doing the "no knead artisan bread" recipes lately, but the addition of beer with minor kneading just sounds incredible. I wish I had some beer on hand! (It's like -21Β°F here, so not leaving the house)! That chicken dish looks delicious. I'm not a fan of barbecue sauce, but I bet a mornay sauce would be an awesome substitute. I love the idea of doing a whole chicken in the instapot and getting all that beautiful stock out of it. All great ideas! Thank you for all your inspiring content, in and out of the kitchen. Merry Christmas! β›„πŸŽ„πŸŽ…β„οΈπŸ¦ŒπŸ””

Kevin, you have been a true friend and an inspiration in my kitchen. All of your recipes are simple, clean, lovely and delicious, and also quite easy to make because you explain everything in such a simple manner but with CLASS. Then, when you light the fire, and pour the wine, it feels like I am in an old New England country home such as yours. You make life so beautiful, yet so easily attained by anyone. God bless you and Mr. Fox, and your happy fur babies, and your wonderful home. May you have continued health, prosperity and happiness in your life, as you have inspired and fostered that same happiness in ours. Happy New Year to you and yours.

If you didn’t want to add coconut in the granola what would you suggest as a substitute? I was watching a baking channel and the baker put the bread in the oven with the light on to prove as they also were living in cold climate and the oven became warm with just the light on

A lovely video, Kevin. Great tartine recipe. I'm glad to learn how to make that granola, too.
And also cooking the chicken in the instant pot for making tartines and chicken stock.
I'm one of those who would definitely use the homemade stock in my cooking!
Thanks for the recipes, Kevin, and I wish you and Mr. Fox and Avery a wonderful New Year!

I like easy in the insta pot. I have never cooked a whole chicken in the insta pot good experiment. Homemade Granola is so much better than store bought and an added bonus is it's fun to make. May you and Mr Fox have a lovely Christmas.

Hi Kevin, lovely video. I love how approachable your ideas are. What is the silver receptacle across the table from the wine? I hope you, Mr. Fox and your furry friends have a wonderful holiday. BTW, I made my first real garland using your tutorial!
