Dude the sun flower field would be the spot that I would mainly hunt, with that being said, I guess that may not be a constant. I wonder if it’s just different on FLAIRs property.

The odds of that buck smelling you from 150-200 yards away in an enclosed blind is very unlikely. The buck was just looking for does and know he could see the entire field so he didn’t need to go out any further. Nothing to do with your scent

if there's greenies within 5 miles, birds will carry them to yours. only explanation I've ever come up with. had a pond dried up almost every summer, ever summer by the time it dried up again, there was greenies in it again

Have you tried hanging the meat for a few days before cooking? Tastes much better
To transform a slice of meat in a memorable tasty experience is possible! The secret is to be patient and wait for the hanging period.

Hanging is a technique used to reach the maximum meat softness and a better concentration of flavours, it transforms an anonymous slice of meat to a steak that melts in the mouth with strong and marked flavours. A paradise for the beef lovers.

Grew up small game hunting and will never forget as a kid when we were having “chicken a la king” or homemade pot pie, 3 outta 4x it was squirrel.. found out a few years later but you’d never know the difference..lotta flashbacks from all your responses but hands down best way to cook it!
