Why can't you throw in the soy curls dried? Why is it necessary to soak them before adding them to recipes (especially for soups)?

Love your videos, but enough with the soy curls – please. For those of us who can't get them, and I'm sure there are some who don't like them, it's getting a bit much now. Every recipe seems to revolve around them.

You can also use a garlic press with small ginger root chunks. Just press them through it and scrape off what is pressed through into your dish.
I added a sweet potato, left out the apple , rice and cilantro, and added a Trader Joe's soy chorizo. I cooked on regular stove. Can't figure out how to add a photo, can anyone help me?
I have tried soy curls, both plain and preseasoned, and really do not care for the taste. Are you planning any recipes in the near future that do not include Soy curls? Btw , I love your videos!😊
