I love lentils. A month or so ago I tried red lentil tortillas. Just soaked red lentils and water blended then pan fried like crepes. You can add seasonings but I kept it simple. Very tasty just a little bland since I hadn't seasoned them. Would be a great wrap for veggie sandwiches with hummus or avocado

I LOVE lentils however they're cooked!! In winter warm with herbs or spices, veggies, tomato…or in a soup. In summer cold in a salad with black olives, red and green peppers, beetroot, dressed with soy sauce, cumin, vinegar, olive oil.. so so yummy!!!! Thank you for all these new ideas 💚💚

Meat-meatloaf has always grossed me out (I found “living being parts evidence” in my grandmother’s meatloaf once when I was ~10–if I’d had the wherewithal then, I would’ve gone at least vegetarian on the spot! Eeew…).

Because of that meatloaf vignette, I’ve not yet tried lentil loaf, although it’s been a fantastic & dependable meat replacement for the past three years of vegan living. That & lentil meatballs are on the “up next to try” list! I finally have a food processor, so I can make that stuff. :))))

I have gotten tired of taco-flavored-lentil-everything before—that’s basically all I ate when I first started vegan life & cooking. I’m kinda ready to out-do a Chipotle burrito bowl, though…I’ve finally tried one & yeah—I think can level that right up. Lol

I was so excited to see this video dedication to the versatile awesomeness of lentils…(prolly bc I’m so happy that someone else out there is as excited about lentils as I am! 😋) yay n thanks!

I'm from the Middle East and one of my favorite lentil dishes is called, mujaddara. It is lentils and rice seasoned with cumin and topped with crispy onions and, served a fresh tomato, cucumber salad.
