There are so many Indian festivals (Navratri, Janamastmi, Shivratri, etc) where many people choose to fast. Since fasting (Upvas) does not necessarily mean …
Samo n moriyo are not same. Both are different things in Gujarat. you are making moriyo khichdi.
Too many peanuts !! Especially if u are nuts intolerant… sorry I thought salt was not allowed while fasting especially rock salt . I think there is another fasting salt around .
Its fasting..why cinnamon?

I loved the way you have mastered this recipe, with perfectly wat's allowed to be eaten and Wat's not! I have tried Ur other recipes which are great as well. Keep up the brilliant job, Good luck!

Hi hetal great recipe, please could you tell me how long between each whistle as I own a silit pressure cooker which doesn't make a noise. Many thanks Dinesh
I am allergic to peanuts and peanut oil, too. What nut would you suggest I substitute, along with ghee in place of the oil? Thank you for such a wonderful series of recipes and demonstrations!
Missing Anuja in your show.
Hetal good to see you. Miss seeing Anuja though. Any plans of coming back to the US.? Perfect recipe for fasting.
This is the first I've heard of samo. I have to look into this. Looks so delicious!
is it necessary to use a pressure cooker? I don't have one!

Hey Hetal, thank u fr sharing such a delicious recipe! I just wanted t know, how long can we use this yoghurt raita after adding d tadhka, bcz usually d dahi gets spoilt once u add hot oil t it…
What is Samo? Never heard of it 🙁
I really like them doing video sperated! Their personality shine more like this.
Very nice Hetal. More such recipes, pls.
a wonderful recipe ..and must try . By the way so liked your pressure cooker , I have to get a new one what sort was that and how do you rate it ?
This may sound silly but, I wanted to know if you could do a video in buying and using a pressure cooker. I don't have one and I'm thinking of getting one. It looks easy but I've always been scared to use one. Someone told me they can explode! Hope you can help. P.S. Love your videos.
I also keep trying to remember the name of the go to spice tin with my various spices inside. Can you jog my memory?
This does look decadent! Have to try it. I am so happy I found your videos a few years ago. I have been making my own curries, parathas and rotis and many other wonderful dishes because of them. I now have two spice cabinets too, one for American food and the other that I call my "Show Me The Curry Cabinet!"—it's much larger than the first. Thanks so much!
Why don't you guys do videos together anymore??!?
