I love that they saw a need and are doing such a great job of filling it.
I would like to know whose idea it was to approach the canners on YouTube to sample their lids. Such a smart idea. I had not heard of them until you tested them Leisa. Then it seemed like alot of others were testing and showing them too. With the popularity they have found, they will need a bigger warehouse soon!😊

Great program Leisa, I have ordered forjar lids 2 times from amazon, the boxes look the same as what I am seeing all of you use on youtube. After hearing you talk about fraud happening, I am a little concerned about how do I know if mine are the real thing? I have had no failures. I also miss you having the canning chats, have you discontinued them?

Hello!!! I’m planning on placing an order soon. Thanks for having them on tonight!

I have a question for your next q&a video…. I have canned both potatoes and carrots. Not together but separately. I do not boil the potatoes before canning. I just feel like that would cause them to be way over cooked after processing. After seeing some your q&a’s and hearing you talk about the safety and reasons why I started second guessing my not precooking the potatoes so I started doing a little research. I use the ball canning book a lot and noticed that the recipe for carrots does not require any pre-boiling before packing in the jars. They can be raw packed. That just puzzles me. Why can carrots be raw packed and not potatoes?? They are both grown in the ground. It just seems really odd to me. I would love your thoughts on this.

just watched your may 13 2021 about vacuum sealing idaho spuds, so I tried it as mine where close to expiration date. Thanks for the tips as this was the first time that I used the vacuum attachment for the jars!

Azure Standard headquarters caught on fire today (Tues 19 April) burned to the ground no one was hurt. Fire is under investigation. Their wearhouse in California burned last week. 😢

I want to thank you SOOOO MUCH for getting me into canning and setting up my prepper pantry! I have been wanting to do this for so long. Imust say, you took all my fear of this process away. I am new to prepping but I have already got a good start on my pantry preps for my family, because…between your channel, and RoseRedHomestead, I finally shed my fear and worry about jumping into this fun and challenging work

Kitchen Warehouse is another place in Australia where jars are sold with two piece lids. We don't have much choice here for lids and it would be lovely to have a better choice and quality than ebay.

Just bought a 24 oz jar of Priano Tomato Basil Sauce at Aldi's. I was surprised to see that the glass jar has embossed measurements on all 4 sides of the jar. That says to me that it very possibly might be ok for canning use. Also, while it doesn't have a "ring" lid, the lid on it is deeper than I'm used to seeing on ready-to-use jars of canned products in the store. I don't have any canning equipment, but maybe someone in the canning community could buy a jar and see if canning lids and rings work on it and let us know??

I placed an order tonight. I suggested that they come up with either cardboard or plastic jar storage boxes that we could safely stack. I also down loaded their e book which has a recipe for blueberry bbq sauce. Just sayin.

If For Jars cans on utube, I would like to see some methods which use no pectin, less sugar, and mix of fruits to get a set. For example, back in the day every back yard had a crabapple tree if none other. I don't think there are much for conserves recipes out there either; it seems as if a lot of folks don't even what they are.
