Beautiful house! So many great details and material and design choices. They did get a great balance of that rustic and modern.
I feel like the solar design is completely backwards though.
I had that thought at first when the huge windows were on the hot west side and they minimized south windows (which can give you indirect sunlight in the summer and direct, warming winter sun). I wouldn't have mentioned it, but when solar gain was specifically mentioned in the garage it made me laugh that from what I've learned about passive solar design, it was kind of opposite.

Congrats on a beautiful home. They mentioned they're tall., I'm 6 ft 2. I too would prefer a 'taller' home, what can be adjusted for height? Kitchen, bathroom….

As a bear for detail, I appreciated the attention to details throughout this beautiful home. Well done! I love all of the smart features, and consideration for charging a future electric car. Of course, as a dog lover myself, I love that they have Stella’s bowls neatly out of the way.

What ISNT my favorite feature?! This was a treat after watching the first video and Zach’s inspo home and wondering how it all turned out! Loved the wood burning stove framed as a fireplace, the butler pantry, the treehouse….
