Hey Steph. Wondering if you can use chicken broth instead of water? As I recall, that's what my wife did. Also, how much hominy did you put in. Sure didn't look like an entire #10 can.
No pigs feet, yuck!! But the other stuff ok, didn't know to add onion, green onion nor garlic in while cooking it!! Gonna try with a pressure cooker as well! Looks yummy tho. Do you not use menudo mix? Oh & we use either corn or flour tortillas. 👍
May you do a pozole recipe? It was one of my favorite things to eat that I craved every week when I was pregnant. I’ve been making more Mexican dishes at home since we relocated from CA to the North east for my husband’s duty station and I swear the Mexican food out here is not the same as back home. We did try Tacos El Gordo before we left and omgosh it was so delicious!
I’m sorry about your loss to both of your companions. I lost my chiweenie Bambi going on two years come August and I still miss her everyday. She gave me the best 12 years of my life as my best friend. I know I saved her from the rough place she was in, but she honestly saved me. I know you may not want to own another dog right now, but when the times right, I’m sure there’s a dog out there looking for a place to call home .
