The one pot meal using instant rice, that you mentioned in a grocery haul! I won't be able to find chorizo that is ground and out of its casing. The chorizo they sell here, is like the one from Spain..cured like hard salami. I'll have to find a substitute. I've found linguisa (spelling?) in ground form. It won't be the same, but pretty close. This would be great served with crisp tortillas, on the side. Delicious!

Lynn, I was just thinking…I don't have any kind of sausage, but I do have some bacon…wondering what that would be like…to cook a pack of bacon, dice it and use in place of the sausage?? I love the idea of all this fiber from the beans and corn being in the dish…I bet it would be very filling & satisfying. Thanks, Lynn!

Hey, Lynn!      I love one-pot meals . . .  very simple, straightforward, and efficient    🙂 That dish looks delicious, too!

Also love your cooktop!   I recently moved to a new apartment with all-electric kitchen and am still struggling since I am so used to cooking with gas.    Do you think the "response time" of your cooktop is markedly different from a "regular" electric stove?   Just curious.   Thanks for your videos and thumbs up as always,  Norfolk Joe   🙂

Looks so easy. Who needs prepackaged boxed food! This is so much better.  And the same amount of work as a boxed dinner.  I'm definitely trying this one. Thanks Lynn.  Lisa
