    On laughter being the best medicine, I was getting a wart cut out of my finger and I'm wincing. The doctor asks if that hurts, of course I said yeah, and he says, "that's strange I didn't feel a thing." I laughed and he went back to digging the root of that thing out.

    Leeches used to "bleed " patients as a treatment for a multitude of ailments .
