I'm on Keto because I have diabetes after trying for forty years to lose weight on the recommended low-fat food pyramid. When I began Keto, my carb cravings disappeared and I began losing weight. Keto is pretty much the opposite of everything we learned growing up. Dark meat is healthy, and fried food is ok as long as seed oils are avoided and the food is not breaded. Butter is good for you. Margarine is poison. It takes a while to get used to eating things I used to avoid, but it works. I thought giving up bread would be really hard, but it was easy. I don't think about eating all day every day anymore. I don't think about doughnuts and cookies and cheese crackers anymore. Cheese is ok. It's the wheat and unhealthy oils the crackers are made of that are unhealthy. So don't feel guilty about liking dark meat chicken better, it is better. I gave up rice years ago, I noticed that I liked it but it didn't like me, it made my feet and ankles swell, even just plain rice did it. I just wish I knew about Keto in my twenties.

I would like to see you make these chicken thighs for a sunday lunch for the family. You seem like a good cook. Or challenge dan to a grilled chicken contest lol
