Now that you're buying books for everybody and there's no problem with books you can always donate them or resell them when you're done and books are such a good thing to be interested in so many people don't read and they don't understand it's a place for your mind to escape it is a beautiful thing to read and I didn't like to read when I was young and I didn't know what I was missing out on

I love the thrift hauls! How do you handle the books you aren't familiar with for you kiddos? I'm a little paranoid about what mine could come across and if it's appropriate 😅

I’ve been looking for one of those kitchen prayer plates to hang in my kitchen, too. We moved into our beautiful mid-century forever home in summer 2021 and it has tons of original features. I decided to go with the vintage vibe and have a “grandma kitchen”, meaning decorating the way my grandma would. 💕 I used to see those little kitchen prayer plates all the time, but now that I’m looking for one, they remain elusive!😂

I always look at tea pots. Mostly if they have a large spout opening. They make great large quantity gravy holders. With a lid the gravy stays warmer longer. Just put on the table and pour out your gravy.

Those were really good thrift stores, especially the first one. You found a lot of good deals. I enjoy going to thrift stores. I do have the same Bible you bought and I am enjoying this version.

Great haul. I especially enjoyed seeing all the books you got. From the time I was a little girl my father kept all of us kids very well supplied with books and it caused me to develop a love for reading that is still alive and well today, DECADES after my dad first introduced us to books. Hopefully, you are instilling a love for reading in your children also.
