Lasagna noodles are “seasonal” at Aldi now. They are only available in the winter so I always buy extras to have for when they aren’t in season. So hard because molasses used to be seasonal and then thy stopped carrying it. I always worry things aren’t coming back. Great job getting lasagna noodles only. Yummy haul and meal plan.
Just a thought for your vegetarian’s to pump up their chili. I like to add diced Yukon Gold potato.
My chili = a roll of that same pork sausage + one of ground beef. then add whatever you want. So easy to stock the freezer with them. EDIT: sometimes i'll sneak turkey in, instead of beef. The family never knows!! 🙂
Regarding the asparagus comment at :56, there is nothing at all that looks nasty? Not everyone knows that the thinner the stalks with asparagus the more tender it is overall. From my vantage point, that looked like excellent asparagus and nowadays with extreme heat we're lucky to have it at that price!
Did your daughter who is vegetarian find plenty to eat at Disney? They usually have pretty good options.
