That's the same way I make iced tea, but with a little less sugar. By the way, you steep tea, not seep it.
Born and raised Georgia girl here and my mother used Tetley tea but she brewed it in the coffee pot. I still use Tetley tea but I boil mine in a aluminum pot like my mom-n-law. It's my teapot and everyone knows nothing but my tea is made in it. Again like my mom-n-law 🙂
I love the potato masher.Stay blessed.
Your decorations are so cute….Thanks for sharing ❤️
Ok T. I swear you had other videos where you made ice tea. I can’t find them. And I swear you used the microwave to do it. Tell me I’m not crazy. Lol
I love to add two small bags of Celestial Seasonings Peach tea in addition to the regular tea. So yummy! I’ve even tried Watermelon tea I got online. Talk about good!!
Love Tetley Tea it was also my grandma's favorite (she was born in London England ) she only drank tea…Tammy I love your bunny rabbit cookie jar it's adorable ❤
I add a pinch of baking soda in my tea. It helps with the bitterness 😊

I just love your Giant Bunny and your Easter Bunny Cookie Jar.!! Adorable!!! I love antique kitchen utensils!! I have an Antique Handmixer that has a guard attached to it to cover the bowl as you mix! Fun stuff!!
Have a blessed day!! God is Good!!!❤❤❤
I didn’t know that was a potato masher. I’ve seen it used as a sauerkraut stomper!
When Bruce makes his tea ( Un sweetened) or I make his tea. First,
I put cold water in the jug. Then use a plastic measuring cup just for tea to boil some water in microwave. Then steep Lipton regular tea bags and green tea in together. Steep tea at same time for 5 minutes and then pour into jug with cold water. Place in fridge to chill.
I found a recipe for crock pot hot chocolate that uses a can of the sweet condensed milk. I made it for Christmas and it was horrible! Everyone online just bragged about it but it was so sickly sweet that I couldn't hardly drink it. I will try this recipe. It sounds really good.
Hi Tammy! I have just recently found you and am looking forward to catching up by binge watching all your videos. I really enjoy all your valuable cooking tips. Keep those up. I made your french fried onions last night and ate an entire onion all my myself!
I love my electric kettle–I found it at Sam's after Christmas one year on clearance. I only boil water in it–I don't put the tea bags in it because I don't boil my tea and I don't want to have to wash it every time. I pour the water over my gallon size tea bag in a glass batter bowl (I can put that in the dishwasher). Mine automatically cuts off once it starts boiling which is nice because sometimes I forget about it. I let a pot of water boil dry once on a glass top stove–it ruined the pan (the lid handle actually melted) and messed up the seal on my range top. I'm surprised you boil the tea–I've read you should only use 180 to 190 F water to brew tea. Also I use filtered water because our tap water tastes bad.
Tammy the kitchen looks beautiful for Easter…I love all your Wedgewood china….Blessings….
My mom had all that you are showing for back in the day kitchen utensil. I had to share some things with my sis to have our mom in our kitchen it's like having her in the morning & day . Her gravy serving dishes . Yes the potatoe masher I still see her mashing them as I sat at the table watching her & learning . This is kinda how I feel watching your videos 🙂. Like my momma's home.
I am Not putting this idea down about the scarf dish cloth helper around your neck 🙂. If I was tall I wouldn't say taller bc I am 4 ft 9 in short . I would catch on first cooking . Lol … I love the idea and YOU MATCH THEM UP 😉 REAL NICE WITH YOUR CLOTHING . ILL USE IT As A 👕 PROTECTOR SO MY BLOUSE DON'T GET DIRTY 😆.
i love your easter decor i have one of those potato mashers i didn't know what it was i learned something today. the hot chocolate looks really good.
I also remember my grandma smashing down the cabbage when making sauerkraut with that tool 😊
We always called those kind of can openers "church keys". Hehehe
Tammy, I love all your Easter decorations and your Valentine's gifts. They're so pretty on display. I never decorate for the holidays with the exception of Christmas..
The hot chocolate looks fabulous! I make my tea on the stove in a boiler pretty much the same way you do in a kettle. It is always better the second day.. prayers for all who are in the ice and snow storms. My heart goes out to all of them. Love you back sweet lady!❤🙏
I love how you sing "delicious"! 😃
Prayers for all the people that are in the storm areas. I live in NC and so far we have dodged the bullet in the area I live in. I love sweet tea, as in Steel Magnolias, the wine of the South. I love fresh lemon and just a splash of pineapple juice. I love crushed ice in my glass of sweet tea.
I truly enjoy your program. Always so fun.
We live in Arkansas and this much snow is unheard of. I am thinking between 15 and 20 inches of snow in the last 2 days.
I love all the Easter decor and antique items.
what brand is your elec kettle ? did i miss you saying?
momma ALWAYS would make "sweet tea SYRUP" and she'd pour it into a clean empty
mayo jar w/a butter knife in jar .. and the knife would keep it from breaking jar …
she'd keep the jar on kitchen counter and as needed would pour a little syrup into
an ice filled glass … about an inch of syrup …over the ice and fill rest way up w/cold water
yummy ! ….
Love, love, love the Wedgewood plates.
You mean she would let the tea ‘steep’ – not ‘seep’
You and your kitchen look super- as usual! 😊🤗
That hot chocolate sounds heavenly!☕ Love ya!🙏
I love your Easter decor. Love the tater' masher. Just think you are sooo cool. Thank you for sharing with us!
