So, the correct way to fill a churro with dulce de leche is to use the very same metal straw you used to remove the inner dough. Just a little pro tip from someone who worked in a churro cart in Argentina, so you don't have such a hard time next time! Usually they use a dulce de leche filled press with a fixed pipe so that they can handle the press while holding the churro.
