Now, you're talkin' Tummy warming stews, are my favorite meal with a melted cheese sandwich or a biscuit. Must have something in each hand to be totally fulfilled, is my Dad's theory.

Wonderful recipes as always. For anyone reading – the dark green leek tops are wonderful in ham, beef or chicken stock, you can always freeze them for the next time you make stock/broth, they lend a depth of flavour.

The new Instant Pot slow cooker is great it really sears/braises the meat and all is done in a cast iron enameled pot. Love it but this really is a step up for a slow cooker. I use my 3 qt I.P. the most because I cook for one but do use the 6 qt as well. Love the yogurt/
Greek as well and so easy to make.😁

I was diagnosed as a diabetic about a year ago and most of these stews and soup recipes you've made here in this video would be perfect to add into my new lifestyle of trying to eat healthier. Plus my family loves stews and soups and they would never know the difference that they would be healthy for them too. We love using our Instant Pots (we have 2 of them lol) so anything that makes our life a little more simple is a total plus! Thank you so much Maria! These recipes look very delicious and such great meals for these very cold winter months!

I had an issue this week where I bought a bag of potatoes on sale and about half were green. I was annoyed but needed them for dinner that night so I cooked up what were good. Tonight I washed and peeled the rest of them and made mashed potatoes. I was careful to peel all the green off and they tasted fine. I’m still annoyed because they were from the local “expensive” grocery store. And I can’t even feed the peels to my chickens because they aren’t safe!
