Thanks for your recepie and thanks to ALL contributors! I finally got around to making "MY" version of this delicious food. I wish to THANK all on this thread for the "variations" which helped a lot. I am "housebound" and it is not easy to get to the grocery store. Used to live in NYC with a FOUR star chef and cooked but was not sure so I really apprecaite ALL of the help. (and those adding this or that – I realized BE "creative"!
a: Next time I will make MUCH less lol, and "smaller" patties (like when making pancakes)
b – I used coconut oil in a non stick non toxic flat griddle.
c – Stove is electric (love gas) so med high heat.
d – I added two types of cheese – Blue, and parmesian (yummy)
e – I added many of my own spices and curries. (2 eggs but were large and dlb yoked)
f – Herbs from my wee small garden. Chives, fennel, basil, onions, garlic.
Added Tamarand paste to the eggs while beating them up.
g – Just to "see" I added some chopped up Prunes, and a Fig…
May have put in other spices (watching a Tubi video so can't see) I like HOT and spicey so will try to do better at that next time. Wahoo!!!
Delicious! Condiments on the side: Blue Cheese dressing on the side (with curry – yellow, green and red)

I love that gas burner! Moved into a house with an electric stove and I am still adjusting to it so thinking of getting one of these for the adjustment period and can never have to many burners around the holidays. 😂❤
