Alcohol will burn off with heat. That is why you wait to add it until room temperature. And, Everclear is flammable. I had to chuckle, you used more sugar than called for, I use less. I also only use a couple of cinnamon sticks, not 4. But these are personal preferences. I may have to try making a batch with just the white grape juice like you did. I usual make mine with white grape juice and mango nectar. Hope you enjoy the batch. Just be careful, a little goes a long ways!
it took so long because you didn't change the dial to pressure cooking setting and set timer to 45 minutes lol fyi for the next batch.
