SHAUN, if it's okay with you, I would be grateful if you further addressed on your show the Sam Hartman situation. Specifically, there are a ton of articles out there accusing ND of tampering. I have to admit, the optics are not good. Although you may not have all the facts, could you speak to why would/could this not be tampering? Maybe a clear definition of what effectively is deemed a tampering violation would be helpful. My presumption is Hartman contacted ND first and that makes it okay for Reese to have a dialog but I do not know and I do not truly know the NCAA tampering rule. It is the elephant in the room that we need to address (that impacts the ND brand of doing things the right way) and I trust you the most to give an honest and unbiased opinion (even if it potentially puts ND in a less than favorable light). Your insights on all this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

And we're definitely not gone be in the championship next year anyway so he doesn't have to be what you're saying Malik. He's what we need right now. We haven't won a championship in 35 years.
