A coworker buys chicken pot pies at Costco and when she cooks them in the microwave, that smell is wonderful. Of course it's got chicken and fat in it. I don't have poultry seasoning so I'll look up a seasoning to see ingredients. My guess is that I have the spices to make it up. When you put in all 2 cups of broth, I thought it was too much. I hope it all cooks down and reduces without overlooking the veggies. I think I'll try this. Thanks for the inspiration.

interesting, more like a biscuit than a dumpling (my definition is it needs to be filled). my bubbie (grandma), from czechslovakia, made a dumpling called kreplach. yummm i wanna figure out how to make that vegan.

Ooh, Butlers soy curls (all natural, no chemicals) would go great in this! Looks so yummy, dumplings were my comfort food too! I try not to use fiber stripped white flours though, do you think ground oats or chickpea flour would work or would they turn into lead sinkers? lol
