So excited to follow along on your journey! I had a rebound, down 72 then a rebound of 20 pounds. I need to find the perfect balance for me. Slow and steady sounds great to me.

My wife is at target weight (I have the same stubborn 30 to 50 pounds to go like you’re talking about). Adding back some carbs is a great idea. Question: Will you be recommending going to calorie counting or will we be weighing food potions? Thanks! Love your videos!

I've watched a really, really great video from Dr. Gabrielle Lyon where they speak about carb threshold per meal for a person that may be insulin resistant and bottom line is that if you eat about 20 grams of carbohydrate in a meal, you're golden. Some people can tolerate and absorb about 40 or more. They say anyone should be ok with up to 140 grams of carbs a day, over three meals and a snack or two. Apparently human body burns about 10g of carb per hour. But 20g per meal,,, anyone should be able to do. So good for you. I find your stuff quite interesting as we're the same height and I'd say similar composition. I'm about 60 pounds from where I should be. Thanks for sharing.

I lost 85 lbs on Keto (it seamed so easy the first time around), and since the beginning of the pandemic, gained about 20 back. I have been trying to maintain Keto, but have really struggled in the last year. Since watching your last few videos, I have been encouraged and increased my carbs from 16 to 41 net carbs… game changer for sure! I do not feel tempted to cheat at all, and have been sticking to my macros. It has been such a treat to introduce beans back into my diet. I will likely try quinoa too. I have also been trying to eat more fish and less dairy. It's only been about 10 days, but this feels great and something I can sustain. Thanks for sharing your journey.

I might have missed it if you explained how to re-calculate your macros to raise the protein. Is there a link to where we can go to do this? I've been Low carb since 2018, lost 30 pounds but have been stuck for the last year and a half no matter what I do with my macros. Thanks for any help! Love your new channel. So excited for you!

Im still pretty strict with my carb consumption (diabetes control). But Im definitely going to make this and maybe use green beans or even cabbage to ‘fill’ it up a bit.

The taco soup you shared has been a MAJOR hit in my house and has become an almost weekly inclusion to our meal plan.

    Thanks Jess!
