The cords are always short so you have to set the crock pot close to the outlet. If you had a long cord and draped it from your stove over to the wall outlet chances are someone could easily walk through the kitchen and hook the cord and pull it off in the floor. That's why they're always short.
I followed this recipe to the letter.. it came out all grainy and gross with super overcooked pasta. WASTE OF FOOD!
