I would love to see you try a fruit cocktail fruit leather please. A lot of the food banks have a lot of fruit cocktail that they hand out and it's not our favorite. Looking for ways to utilize it and maybe fruit leather is the way to go. I do not have a dehydrator at the moment. I am trying to save up for one

I have an 11 tray Magic Mill dehydrator and I made dehydrated watermelon that I let my 3yr old granddaughter plant and grow last year. It's delicious.😋🤤🥰 BTW hubby had gotten the dehydrator for me for Christmas in '21 and I dehydrate so many different things in it.❤️

Very cool! Probably so much stuff you could dehydrate and store for later…and a lot of things probably need minimal prep, and then just pop it in there and let it bake. I think my husband has said we have one, once upon a time…we’ve moved quite a bit, wonder if he knows where it is?

l would let it get a bit more leathery, some roll it up with some wax paper, and put in an air tight container, Must say the dragon fruit looks really good. might have to try this one.

I've salvaged a phone I dropped in water for a second. Food dehydrators like this one are perfect for this purpose (not the ones with heat elements on the bottom and no fan.

Great job! If you wanna go all extra, fill squirt bottles with different flavors and you can make swirl designs, write kids names, etc. If I can find pics of some I've done I'll share it on the FB page!

Great video and snacks! I haven't felt wrll at all today but your video made me smile and laugh, and brought back memories!

Fruit leather was the ONLY treat I got in my lunchbox in elementary school! It was from 1984 to 1989. My Mom was a bit of her time when it cane to feeding her kids healthier food! Lunch was almost always a PBJ, a 100% juice box by A]le & Eve, a whole apple or orange and a piece of unsweetened, 100% fruit leather. It was store bought and awful! Gritty texture and bitter. I've had the exact same kind in recent years, tha kfully it's MUCH better!

My sister and I tease Mom now, lol! It was the 80s! We sat at lunch tables surrounded by friends who all had bags of chips and popcorn Hawaiian Punch and Hi-C juice boxes a d Hostess everything! I wrnt to a friend's house after school. She opened the snack cabinet door. It was floor to ceiling junk food Heaven! Every kind of Hostess snack cake, Fruit Rollups, chips, candy, etc. I loved Twi kids back then, my friend threw me a box of them! I added her Mom if I could have one. She said sure, take whatever I wanted. I thought about it, looked up at her and asked, wrll, can I have TWO! Lol! She laughed at me, told me to have whatever I wanted, just don't make myself sick. That was music to my 6 year old ears! I was ski ny as a rail, did gymnastics, horseback riding a d ballet as much after achool activities, so I definitely Italy burned off all the ju k food I binged on that day. I'd never been to someone's house who had that much junk food before! We had Breyer's vanilla ice cream and lots of fruits and veggies at our house. Snack food was looked at as treats for special occasions like school field trips we had to bring lunch on, birthdays, special play dates, or weekends when it was just me and my Dad. He'd pop down to a local deli for sandwiches, chips and giant deli pickles. Mom just focused on our health, which while we tease her about it we also appreciate it. If we asked for a specific healthy food for school lunches, she'd always get it! I remember when mini apples and pears were really popular. I remember they were about 5 times the price of standard size fruits, but Mom got them for me for a long time! I was lucky to have an awesome Mom who cared about our health and happiness, your kids are lucky to have the same type of Mom!
