It really seems to be the same everywhere – no toilet paper, pasta, bread, and some canned goods. But other than that there’s still a lot of food available! We just have to be resourceful and be willing to change plans on what we can find each week. Personally, we haven’t had any problems finding what we need yet. In Canada 🇨🇦

    Happy Mother's Day to you!
We have Mother's Day on the second Sunday in May.
Friends and family are helping others. My co-worker went shopping for a bag of groceries for me last week. I made "Taco Soup" instead of Chilli tonight, just to stretch the ingredients.

Thank you for showing consideration to others and not buying “extra” as some people are, even though you have a large family. I cried last week because I had to go to three different supermarkets to try and get my elderly Dad some bread and milk. I’m veggie myself, so I’ve dusted off some tins of chickpeas and kidney beans I found at the back of the cupboard. And like you said, adding pulses to food makes it go a lot further. God bless, and stay safe.

Really loved this video and your generosity. If you can get back to me could you tell me if you have a video that you’ve made where you’ve used lentils. That would be great 👍💖💖

I work as a nanny and I also use "You get what you get and you don't get upset". Another thing ma and the kids always say is "You don't always get your favourite, sometimes it's someone elses turn". It is very interesting times when we have to change how we plan our cookibg depending on what is avaliable – maybe it will make us all better cooks in the end!

I've really enjoyed your videos for the past few months and really thought it was well thought out to just add a disclaimer at the start of the video because of the current situation. I'm a vegetarian but my partner eats meat and one thing that we've been doing since the start of the new year is making veggie 'meat' out of vital wheat gluten. I know a lot of people use VWG for adding a bounciness to bread but we've been using it to make meat substitutes like chicken for curries or beefy stuff similar to quorn products. It might be a good way to make your budget stretch a little further for some meals 🙂

Bless her and everyone who is going the extra mile. You are great keep up with your video's because it's good to know how others are coping with the life changing way of life ❤️

Keep doing what you’re doing Vicky! What a kind person to have thought of other shoppers and your neighbors. I’m having to be more creative with meals too. I wonder if this is how my Granny felt during the Great Depression.

What a lovely, caring woman you are. I've offered to walk the neighbour's dogs as they are both elderly and have health issues. It's at times like this that we really start to see human kindness at it's best. My 10yo daughter took 2 big boxes of creme eggs into class yesterday so each k child got one at the end of the day. It was just a little gesture but it made the kids smile at the ends of a stressful day x
