Holy Crap! What a dish this looks to be. I have to make this for Thanksgiving. What a complete surprise to the families, they are expecting pumpkin pie. Think I will use a 11×17 to thin the slices down a bit, with loads of yummy dark roast coffee and cream!

This is perfect! My elderly neighbor just gifted me a bag full of Satsumas and lemons from his yard! I made Satsuma jelly and will give him a jar to thank him, but now I can make this beautiful cake with some of his fresh lemons and bring him some.
