We turned our leftovers (turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, diced veggies) into thanksgivng fried empanadas. We purchased the empanada dough to make it easy.

Hi, so I love this easy and tasty recipe. Could you also use string bean casserole or would that make it too mushy or I can't think of the word but something like mudge; too many ingredients can sometimes ruin a recipe or too many flavors can.
Anyways, I hope you can get what I'm trying to say. And thank you for sharing all your recipes and I agree with Simplycuriously that you do belong on the Food Network.

Hi Sara! Happy Thanksgiving! I could totally see you on the food channel! You have come up with a fun and easy recipe concept that everyone can follow. I love how you take a recipe or ingredient and prepare three ways. It makes it fun and it's also flexible so that you can use the ingredients you have on hand, or pick and choose the one you like best. Not everyone has the imagination to transform oatmeal or hot chocolate or quinoa. I know I don't! I tend to stick to the same thing. You are amazing! Keep up the great work!!
