Hi Laura, thank you for this recipe, definitely gonna try making it. Where can I find vanilla bean paste? I have never been able to find it.
My Mom always made her banana pudding with homemade pudding, Nila wafers, bananas and then made meringue for the top with the leftover egg whites. Just a few years ago my cousin made the version with sweetened condensed milk and to me that was a whole other level! But then there are few things that aren’t fabulous with sweetened condensed milk! 😉☺️😋 Don’t get me wrong… they are both incredibly yummy, but the latter is easier and delicious!
Try using the Pepperidge Farm Chessman cookies instead of the vanilla wafers for something different. Yum!
